Training "no gi" is undoubtedly a fun complement to gi training. Without the gi holding you back, it's higher paced, tests your cardio and produces a ton of sweat. However, with so much direct skin-to-skin contact, there's naturally an increased risk of encountering a contagious skin ailment.
Ringworm, folliculitis, impetigo, and staph are serious skin infections that can be contracted from the gym. MRSA, an antibiotic resistant variant of staph, can be potentially life-threatening.
With all of these dangers in mind, we designed our naturally antimicrobial Hemp Shorts for making your "no gi" training safer. Because our Hemp Shorts are constructed of hemp, which is naturally antimicrobial, they are the perfect piece of armor to ward against mat nasties. Combining our naturally antimicrobial Hemp Shorts with a pair spats, a rash guard, and a proper personal hygiene regiment will ensure that all your bases are covered.
Attention
Because high quality hemp fibre has become increasingly difficult to source, we can only produce the Hemp Shorts once per year. Once they sell out, you'll have to wait until next year to purchase a pair (at the earliest).

Returns

- We do not accept returns on limited release, clearance or sale items.
- Items must be in original and resalable condition, i.e. untrained in, unwashed, and in original packaging.
- Returns will be accepted only if the return is sent within seven days of the delivery confirmation date.
- A full refund of the purchase price, excluding the shipping, will be made promptly upon receiving the merchandise in the same condition in which it was shipped.
- There are no refunds on items damaged in shipping. In that case, you must file a claim with the carrier.
- All packages are to be fully insured. You must notify us of any return so that we will be expecting your package. Returns that are sent without our prior knowledge will be refused.

The only nogi shorts you will ever need and the only ones I wear.
They are confortable, well made and they get better as you wear them and wash them. I like this version because they are 100%. Hemp.
I just bought two more in case older ones break. I had them for 5 years and still going strong.
I have three hemp gis from flow (gave one to my son, kept two). These are great products! So I figured the hemp shorts would be a slam dunk, and I was right. Comfortable, moves well, breathes well and of the best quality. No snaps, zippers or exterior pockets (velcro closures) with a draw string) so no snagging. The hemp series is sure to last for many years.
The fit is the tiniest bit small. I wear 36" jeans and purchased the XL shorts. They say 36-38, but I think you'd be hard pressed to get a 38" waist in these. Same with the gi's though; I go with the A3H at 5'11" 225#.

Excellent shorts. Great fit, and durable. One thing about the materials though. The website says they are 55% hemp/45% organic cotton twill. Mine say they are 55% hemp/45% recycled polyester. I bought these precisely because they were made from non-plastics.
Have had these shorts for a few months now and I am super satisfied with them. Made with high quality craftsmanship. Fit true to size and have a nice draw string for snugging up. The velcro used seems like an upgrade from your standard but holds very well and hasn't frayed. Overall great fit, lighter then expected and very comfortable
