I purchased the Flow Alpine Pro 6.2 in Grey believing I was buying a lightweight BJJ gi. I was wrong. I had purchased a sacred artifact.

The moment I put it on, the kimono didn’t merely fit—it bonded with me at the cellular level. Within minutes, I could no longer tell where my skin ended and the pearl-weave fabric began. It weighs almost nothing, moves before I do, and appears to be governed by different laws of physics than ordinary clothing.

During my first roll, time slowed to a crawl. I could hear colors. I could see my opponent’s thoughts forming before he had them. His intention to shoot a double leg appeared to me as a shimmering blue aura three seconds before he moved. I sprawled instinctively—not because of skill, but because the Alpine Pro had already shown me the future.

By the second round, I had achieved full telepathy. By the third, astral projection. At one point, my consciousness left my body, floated above the mats, and watched as the gi executed a flawless knee cut without my involvement. My professor nodded silently. He understood that this was no longer his student rolling before him, but an ancient grappling entity wearing the body of a 43-year-old white belt.

The grey color is equally powerful. Not light grey. Not charcoal. The exact grey of a storm cloud gathering over Mount Olympus before Zeus heel-hooks a mortal.

It is extraordinarily light, ridiculously comfortable, beautifully constructed, and apparently capable of unlocking dormant regions of the human mind.

I can read thoughts. I can bend space. I have glimpsed the true architecture of the universe.

I still can’t get out of half guard, but I don’t believe that’s the gi’s fault.

Absolutely fantastic. Was apprehensive about the Feather but tried it out. I loved it and others at my school stated they were gonna get one. I ordered 3 Alpine 2.0 as well. Fantastic and very lightweight. I’m 6’1” at 210lbs. Ordered A3H and the fit is spot on out of the bag. First time using a Flow Gi. Flow will be my go to. Thinking of actually ordering a couple more of the Feather as well. I highly recommend them. The rip stop jacket feels amazing.

It’s been too warm in the gym for my regular go, I got this as a gift and the weight of it is perfect. It’s light but strong and doesn’t feel like it will rip during open mat.

I’m planning on buying another one to keep in rotation.

These are absolutely the best Gi’s ever!

I didnt like all the branding on the gi, but we were able to cut off the patches with tailoring scissors. The quality of the gi is superior to competitors and is my main training gi. Washed twice on hot to shrink and fits perfectly now. Will be getting another A1L at some point in the natural color of hemp as I think the color of natural hemp is pretty cool.

I've been eyeing a flow gi for several months because I've wanted something much lighter and cooler for the sweltering FL summers. This summer, my heavy old gi became just too much during hot and humid rolls...so, I waited. As soon as a blue Alpine went on sale, I grabbed one and it is an absolute game changer! I could not believe how light it felt, while still feeling substantially well made. Matter of fact, I not only stay cooler, but I move better. I can feel my Professor prepping that blue belt promotion speech...lol. Jokes aside, this is an amazing gi and you will not regret it if you are looking for something lightweight and well made. Also, these (when on sale) seem to be criminally underpriced. Customer for life!!!
