I had the Alpine 1.0 for two years and it was an excellent summer gi. I didn't think people would notice when I replaced it with the 2.0 but I received several compliments. My review is really for the 1.0 which I liked because it was light, cooling, and a great color. I'm glad it doesn't have a lining, I prefer to wear a rash guard. After two years the cuff started to fray and it didn't smell so fresh despite always using Lume spray and Defunkify detergent so I sent them my money for a new one. There seem to be almost no differences between the 1.0 and 2.0, so consider me a happy repeat customer.

Love the gi. I was initially worried because of the discounted price that the material would be cheap. It is quality material and I like it. I'll definitely be buying more in the future and will recommend this company to my fellow bjj practitioners.

Love this Gi, light weight and wicks the sweat away. I prefer Gi pants that have a slimmer leg opening and these are the best Gi pants I have found!!

The alpine is my favorite gi. I have three. They are all I want to train in.

The Feather gi keeps you cool and helps wick away the sweat while you're training. Unlike traditional cotton gi's that hold on to sweat, this gi does not hold on to sweat. If you're looking for a gi to keep you cooler while you train, then this gi is for you.

The gi is super comfortable and light. Our gym is north of. 100 degrees Fahrenheit. During the summer months. I noticed a marked difference between this gi and a couple of the other well known brands that I own of “light” his.

Excellent gi, I own Fuji and Kingz gi's and this is on par with a great price point and great breathability. No issue other than I forgot that white gi's are harder to keep clean.

Not only are they’ super light but flow gi pants have the best waist band in the game. You can actually tie them nice and tight and it doesn’t come loose.

I’m 5’3” and 165 lbs, and the A1L fits me surprisingly well. I went with this size because I wanted something with a bit of extra sleeve and pant length without feeling too baggy, and it delivered. The jacket is lightweight but still has a sturdy weave that holds up during hard rolls, and the pants are durable while staying breathable.

The fit gives me enough room to move without feeling restricted, and I haven’t had any issues with shrinkage after washing (cold wash, hang dry). The collar is firm but not overly stiff, and the whole gi dries quickly — perfect for training multiple times a week.

Pros:
• Good fit for a stocky, shorter build
• Lightweight and breathable
• Quick-drying fabric
• Durable weave and quality stitching

Cons:
• Lighter material might not be ideal if you prefer a heavier competition gi

Bottom line: If you’re around my size and want a gi that’s comfortable, durable, and easy to maintain, the Flow A1L is a solid choice.
